Legends is led by a team of dynamic and highly skilled individuals with a diverse portfolio of professional experience. 

Blake Edwards ​

General Manager​

Blake is responsible for the day-to-day management, sales and operations of the out-of-home media company jointly owned by the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Prior to joining Legends, Blake was the Principal/President of Triad Sports Group LLC (TSG), an Arizona-based consulting and business development practice. Previously, Blake held senior-level positions with the Arizona Rattlers Arena Football Club, IMG College, Sacramento Kings, Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns.

A native of Tucson, Arizona, Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s of business administration (MBA) from Arizona State University.

His most memorable “Legendary Moment” in the District is the Dbacks Game 7 victory to clinch the 2001 World Series over the New York Yankees.

 

David Soble

Director of Sales

David Joined Legends in April of 2014 from the Phoenix Suns organization. David is responsible for sales of the Legends Entertainment District. David background was in sponsorship sales and enjoys the new challenge in the OOH industry.

Born in Tucson, David attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Soon after graduation, he accepted a position with the Phoenix Suns in their season tickets and group sales department. In 1996, he accepted a positon with Fox Sports Arizona and was promoted to LSM in 2000. In 2004, he packed up and moved to Indiana and became the General Manager with Purdue Sports Properties. Soon afterwards, he became the Senior Director Business Development and moved to Dallas with Learfield Sports.

David’s favorite part of the Legends Entertainment District is seeing all the growth in the last few years in downtown Phoenix.

David is married (Lori) and has 3 children (2 in college).

Tracey “TK” Kouri

Director of Operations

TK joined the Legends Entertainment District in January 2018 as Director of Operations. In her role with Legends, TK manages a myriad of operating activities including partner relations, legal and accounting/finance.

TK was born in California and attended Arizona State University. Returning to California after graduation, TK began pursuit of a path in the footwear industry where she held multiple sales and business development roles with Skechers, among others. TK eventually made the move back to Arizona to make a permanent home with her son, Cameron.

Beyond the amazing signage network that she plays a role in managing, TK’s favorite aspect of the District is the wealth of great food & beverage options within the area…along with the broad array of sporting events, concerts and other nightlife. As TK would say, “You never know who you might bump into down here”.

Steve Mitchell​

Director of Content and Technology ​

Steve Mitchell came to Legends in 2020 as the Director, Content and Technology. In his role Steve oversees creative, the digital locations and the content management system Legends uses among other responsibilities.

Steve is from North Carolina but grew up in Arizona. He attended The Art Institute of Phoenix for college and before graduation received an internship with the Arizona Diamondbacks helping run the digital signage in the ballpark during games. After graduation, Steve spent the next ten years managing the digital signage systems for the Arizona Coyotes and Phoenix Suns.
